Alex Ovechkins wife, Nastya, took to Instagram on Thursday to share her thoughts on the Russian Capitals placement on the NHLs COVID-19 unavailability list. Ovechkin, Kuznetsov, Orlov, and Samsonov were disciplined and uneligible to bet a while after hanging out together in a hotel space throughout the Capitals latest road trip. The Capitals were fined $100,000 as a team.
” I regret my choice to hang out together with my teammates in our hotel space and far from the locker room locations,” Ovechkin said in a statement launched by the Capitals. “I will gain from this experience.”
Nastya has various views.

Writing in both English and russian so her significance was not lost on any of her fans, Nastya took an ironical tone.
She writes:
Obviously, only Russian players of Washington Capitals were together in the same hotel room.
Obviously, all of the other NHL gamers, when playing away, separating themselves from their colleagues.
Naturally, you cant capture the infection when you and your teammates sit together on the bench, hug each other when they score a goal, or when they are entirely in the lounge or locker space.
Players cant get infected when they are at the restaurants, grocery stores, malls, etc.
Virus just works in a hotel room. The one who developed this rule, obviously is very rational. By the way, both Alex Ovechkin and Dmitry Orlov have antibodies. Not everybody is competent in their (antibodies) worth and properties.
Ovechkin stated in an offseason interview that he learnt he had antibodies after his mommy Tatyana got ill with COVID-19. It was previously not known that Dmitry Orlov has antibodies.
