Dana White reiterates UFC piracy warning: I will catch these ‘scumbag criminals’ – Bloody Elbow

Dana White began 2021 with a warning to those who bootleg online broadcasts of UFC battles. Without offering anything particular, the UFC president just said he has a “surprise” waiting on those included in such activities.
White recently spoke to The Mac Life to double down on his battle versus online piracy.
” Weve been one of the leagues that have been so proactive on piracy,” White stated. “I enjoy how cool and hard these men act on social media because let me tell you what, weve captured a great deal of individuals. Let me tell you what they do: they sob. They cry and they plead not to be prosecuted and all this other things.
” We simply overcame a substantial obstacle in the piracy world and were going to catch some of these men in 2021 and I anticipate the crying and the asking. Well see how tough they are when they get captured.”
Apart from the unauthorized distribution of his product, Whites other big concern is individuals providing individual details, only to get scammed and taken from.
” So if you go through my Instagram and go through all the remarks, theres a person stating DM me if you wish to get the battle this weekend. Hes stealing individualss information,” White stated. “People that are DMing him, hes stealing their details.
” Hes taking your money from your bank and hes charging your credit card. These guys are f– king sleazebag crooks.
” Theyre never all going to go away. Theyre going to be out there, and were not trying to get rid of all of them. You cant shut the whole thing down, that piracy industry is going to go on forever.
The UFC could anticipate more cases of piracy this year, specifically after ESPN chose to raise PPV rates to $69.99. These new rates will begin with UFC 257.

” Weve been one of the leagues that have been so proactive on piracy,” White said.” Theyre never all going to go away. Theyre going to be out there, and were not attempting to get rid of all of them. You cant shut the whole thing down, that piracy industry is going to go on forever.
