BYU benefited from a cold-shooting Saint Marys group throughout a key second-half stretch as the Cougars beat the Gaels 62-52 at McKeon Pavilion in Moraga, California, on Thursday.
Here are three takeaways from the game:
BYU (10-3, 1-1 West Coast Conference) won in Moraga for the very first time considering that 2014 regardless of tracking by eight points with simply under 11 minutes to play.
